Have booked the SC in, 3rd October, so will give an update once done.
The service gentleman (forgotten his name) that booked me in was very thorough in covering what i could likely expect from this (list of items that could be addressed), all items would have costs of rectifying with them so as to see if OPC are competitive and gave details of other things they could offer, valet, detailing etc. so if pre-service is anything to go by i can recommend them already.
I see in porsche post that there may be an aircooled event later at OPC Leics, perfect as i'm planning on an upgrade soon.
Up dates to follow.

Hello again, just an update following my health check.
Booked it in 3 weeks ago but sadly had to reschedule due to work commitments, OPC Leics were very accommodating even though i was now well into October, not September as the offer was valid for.
On arriving i was greeted and given a quick overview of the centre and facilities available for my hour long wait, including a well stocked refreshment counter, magazines and television.
The hour flew by and Martyn came to inform me my car was ready. I received a full breakdown of the items they covered and this included:
Engine oil and fluids check, screen and headlamp wash check, battery condition, all lights external and internal, horn, locking system, heater system, exhaust system, external trim and bodywork, brake system, steering and suspension, alloy wheel condition and tyre condition.
I must say this is something i have never had before, apart from servicing and MOT, and had it not been for the Porsche Club and region organiser i probably wouldn't of even thought that OPC's would even want my old girl cluttering up there facilities, just goes to show how wrong you can be.
Well i'm thoroughly impressed and i am going out to enjoy the last of the sunshine.

They love the air-cooled cars at Leicester,the tech that mostly works on them drives a lovely 964 himself as his daily driver,my 964 has been in a little too much recently rear spoiler mechanism and a noisy ac component,hope that's all for the moment.

Yep, couldn't agree more....my '73 goes in every year for a service and checkover. Martyn is a delight to deal with, as is Richard the Dealer Principal and Allan the Sales Manager.
They never do unnecessary work and are happy to point out things to think about for the future without suggesting I spend the money early.
They also have a very competitive hourly rate for older cars.....so for me they offer the best of everything.
