Fri 31st May

Region 4 are organising a novice induction day.
Blyton Park, 5 miles north of Gainsborough Lincs. SatNav North 53° 26"² 49"³ - West 0° 40"² 49"³

I went to this event last year and thoroughly enjoyed myself. We were divided up into small teams of similar powered vehicles and experience, Each session was accompanied by a fully trained instructor.

I was asked what type of instruction I wanted and opted for tell me how to improve, and not micro manage me.
After a couple of warm up laps getting to know the circuit, which is an old airfield with traffic cones marking the circuit, we set off.

I never knew I could drive so well, gentle hints on how and when to brake so that speed isn't lost through the bends and how to adjust the cars balance by applying brakes at the correct time and holding my nerve making a straight line out of the esses flat out are things I readily remember 12 months later.

There were never more than 3 or 4 of us on the circuit at any one time and we were spaced apart so that there was little chance that we'd catch each other.

At only £95, what's not to like!!

Make sure your brake pads are decent and the fluid is up to the mark and come and join us on a fabulous day.
