Front Boot Light Switch

I have a problem with the boot light only intermittently working. I have replaced the bulb but the problem remains. I do not know how the light is switched on. I have searched the boot for some sort of switch but cannot locate it.
Does someone know how the boot light is switched on and where it is located?
 
Hi

The Switch is part of the Bonnet lock on the car. They can get crap and water in the plug which turns the copper green and makes a poor connection. If you have a look you will see the connector. Switch might also need some lubrication is case it's stiff inside where the bonnet catch goes in
