Front brake disc replacements

Morning guys,

Just a quick query about these brake discs and whether they will fit my 1983 2.5 LUX...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PORSCHE-944-2-7-FRONT-BLACK-DRILLED-GROOVED-BRAKE-DISCS-/390264554870?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5add948576

The previous owner changed the pads all round, currently have EBC reds front and EBC greens on the rear all with loads of life.

The brakes just feel a little juddery under braking and i think the discs are a little warped as they've probably not being changed for a while.

The ones on ebay are listed as for a 2.7 but i wondered if there was any reason they wouldn't fit my 2.5? There are also a pair of EBC grooved and dimpled discs on for £75 inc delivery which seemed decent.

It does say the discs are for 1988 onwards (ABS offset ?) so I am surmising that they won't be any use for your '83 model.

Ah that would make perfect sense...ok scrap them ones then lol

Think i'll go for these then as i do want to try do a short track day in the 944 next year and these should be fine for daily uses too

Anyone had experience with these good or bad?

Only 1 experience with EBC discs - I'd avoid if I were you

new EBC disc after a few laps of the nordschleife

Buy some standard ones from Bert - they will be just fine.
is this the right one? 911.351.041.20 - Give him a ring, he knows these cars inside out.
His discs (Sebro, not Zimmerman) stood up really well on track, even with PFC97's

Cheers edh, i've had a look at the one's Bert does and think thats what i'll probably go for, might invest in some braided hoses at the same time to really sharpen up the pedal feel.

The EBC ones on ebay are different to them ones you've cracked but if i remember correctly a few subaru owners on scoobynet also cracked EBC discs after some hard driving. To be honest i drive like a bit of a nun on the roads and anytime i drive the car hard i still don't push the brakes as if i was on a track. Some scooby owners drive like crazy all the time and then turn around and slate the brakes when they go through set really quick.
