Anyone had cause for a respray to front bumper ?

Just interested in rough price estimates, and if anyone can recommend a bodyshop in Solihull or surrounding area.

Any advice welcome.

Robin Dallwood at Westacott. 01296-655574. He does a lot of work for Autofarm, and very 'old school' but his paintwork is first class. He isn't VAT registered, which is a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

I have noticed on my front bumper the near side lower splitter's paintwork is pealing off, thinking of super glue around the edges to stop it pealing any more, just as a short term fix but at around £250 that's not bad!

I agree with Richard's price quote as being great value. I've just had a respray of front bumper as there were loads of unsightly stone chips against the black paint. Got 5 quotes from varying places which ranged from £300 to £1600!! With some reluctance I went for the £300 option and am delighted. This is in the area near to Stansted so not close for you I know but hopefully gives some reassurance that cheap doesn't necessarily mean poor quality. If anyone needs details of the guy I used just give me a shout. I'd never used him before but he had a Porsche Turbo a few years back and clearly appreciates the quality of finish required.

Hi
I live near Harlow so if you could give details it would be appreciated.

Hi Brad. I live in Sawbridgeworth so probably not far from you. The guy I used was at Stortford Body Repairs. I think his name was David. Really helpful bloke. It's a little industrial estate in the middle of nowhere (past Down Hall Hotel on way to Matching Green). I was really pleased with his work and he was far far cheaper than any other quotes I got. Hope that helps.
