Front Bumper Rubber Strip

Chaps, had some spare time this morning and I thought i'd remove the headlights, indicators, rubber bumper buffers, number plate etc, for a proper detailed clean & refresh.
Now the problem....everyting else has gone back properly except....how the hell do you get the front centre rubber strip back into the hard white plastic 'thingy' that is now clean and clipped back onto the bumper itself ? There must be a knack ?
Please help....it's driving me mad !!

Thats the way i did it. Does anybody know the part number for the white clips as i need two?
