Hi
Currently in a refurb phase onmy boxster - sorting everything out that needs doing - even down to the last grommet or washer ! I have stopped short of cleaning and polishing the wheel arches though. However I attended a free inspection at OPC and during this it was pointed out that the front lower arm bushes had perished - in board. This was a visual check and all that seemed at fault was the lip of the bush being able to lift slightly on the seam with the control arm. I don't have any knocking and the car just passed its mot. Is this the case of OPC being over cautious ? I'm not sure what a worn control bushing should look like. Both arms had this issue. If I was to purchase new do you think spares from Eurocarparts are just as good as OEM. I think they are half the price ?
