Front fuse box / relay board

hi all,
Does anyone know if the fuse / relay board on the 964 is interchangable with the 993 one, the part numbers are 96461001100 and 99361001100 respectively?

it appears the 964 one is no longer available new but the 993 one is. My car is a 1990 964 coupe currently having a full glass out restoration.

cheers
Bill

Thanks Ian, OPC closed at the moment so will be calling in the morning. Just thought I'd tap into the collective Porsche knowledge on the forum.

Surprisingly, new prices are similar to eBay used prices given my research so far??

I used to trawl through ebay a lot until I realised it's full of overpriced old parts [&:]

True for the parts that hang around on ebay as a lot is high priced rubbish , the well priced parts go quickly as I've brought many from around the world to keep the old girl going in the future all at the right price ;-)

Example: Recently brought the said Fuse board for £25. a complete MINT Exhaust manifold from California for £200 as nothing rusts out there . In Europe there hens teeth or over priced .

Over 10yrs Ive noticed 964 parts have been like stocks & shares as the prices rises with supply and demand and the economy . Best time to buy was the recession ;-)

Thanks for the replies.

Just for information - The fuse box part number 96461001100 which is suitable for the 964 & 993 up to 1995, but is no longer available from Porsche. According to Porsche, the 993 part number 99361001100 for vehicles 1995 onwards is not compatible with the 964.

i've managed to source one on eBay and my offer has been accepted so the cost is much lower than anticipated, assuming it is OK.

Ian, can I ask who you used to ship the exhaust from California, I'm looking to ship some items but so far the costs are making any saving negligible?

Cheers

Bill
