Hi,

I have front PDCs on my car which look standard to me, well they look identical to the rear sensors so I'm presuming standard:

On my front dash I have the following unit but it's never worked, again I'm not sure whether this is standard?

Could anyone advise as to whether this is standard or aftermarket equipment?

Thanks

I thought as much. Unfortunately the device on my dash has no manufacturer names so I don't have a clue where to start in relation to getting it working!!!

There just cheap ebay ones, (where you could get replacements)

Are they worth replacing only down side it that you have holes in your bumper!.

They are wired that they go off constantly, So even when your sitting in traffic there going to go off.
The only way to have them on the front is to put them on a 555 timer circuit and take the timer feed from the reverse light.
That way they are only active whilst parking.

Thanks for the info - I'm fine without them to be honest, had the car 6 months and never felt like I needed them. If they are ones that will go off in traffic then I'd rather leave them disabled.

Thanks
