Front Runner, up front and personal !

Hi Marc
Are you going to sign up for the FrontRun with rally plaque and map route all for a bargain fiver?

I have a few places left, so if anyone wants to snap them up e-mail me at 924@porscheclubgb.com and I'll e-mail you an application form.

Ta [:)]

On the 944 forum you asked how far the new premises are from the old ones on Mucklow Hill. Well if you go to the internet streetmap place you can get Bromsgrove Road and Mucklow Hill on the same peice of the Map. At the wrong time of day I bet you could probably walk it quicker than drive it.[&:]

The mapped run is going to the new premises.

The Porscheshop
Unit 4, Block 2
Shenstone Trading Estate
Bromsgrove Road
Halesowen
B63 3XB

It's important that people who do not have the route map know this as the old premises is difficult to find, and there certainly isn't much room for many cars there!

........ travelling by LIL airways.

Oooh I'd forgotten that, I will just order something from the trolley when I'm on final approach [:D]

I did ask Paul about food last week. I hope there is something organised, as otherwise no-one will be staying long at Porscheshop! Don't forget that most pubs stop seving Sunday lunch by about 2.30.....

There is also food (our usual quality burger van) in attandace at Cornbury House for those doing the Rally.

sorry guys i'm going to have to sit this years event out, my wife went into labour on friday and gave birth to my month early son at 6.30pm. I cant tell just by looking at him he is a future front runner though. So i will be spending Sunday with mother and son.

Marc

Wow!

I didn't realise that your wife had delivered the baby! I thought you said in your e-mail she had just gone into hospital for observation! Now I read it again I realise you did indeed calmly mention you now have a little baby boy!

CONGRATULATIONS! [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]

Now that deserves a special mention at FrontRunner!

A few Facts
Weather bright and crisp. Club Shop, busy, Arkwright tells me he took just under £1K as oposed to £220 last year.
Burger van , busy.

Route mainly traffic free.

Porscheshop, busy. I counte 47 cars there at 1:30 but as cars came and went that is no real indication.

A few images.. Cornbury House.

Thanks for all your help on the day Geoff, thanks to John Barnatt for displaying his 944 Turbo Cabriolet inside Cornbury House

Thanks to the staff at Cornbury for getting things up and running, good to hear Club Shop did well.

I think the boss Mr Heward was surprised by the number of cars we had in attendance, thanks to him and his staff for making us welcome.

And last but not least all the drivers, navigators, family and friends that came along [:)]

I'm always looking to make FrontRunner better so get in touch if you have a suggestion, and I hope to see you next year.
