Front shocks and suspension help

Hi Guys

So my 996 Targa is in need of new front shocks. I have been thinking about getting some lowering springs all round, but now I know I need shocks, I thought I'd ask here for people opinions and advice.

Which shocks.. which lowering springs?

I have a 996 Targa as well
Recently replaced all the suspension at Porsche Brooklands
It was a Porsche oe sports suspension kit, shocks, lowering springs, new anti roll bars etc
The whole kit was on special offer at the time
Very impressed with it
 
they are a bit of a rusty mess.

Bought the car 2 weeks ago, and got my local indy to put on a ramp today to have a look around. the only point of note was the front shocks.
