Front side light fitting

After a HID upgrade the old sidelights looked a bit sickly, so I decided to get some of the 1W LED ones from Aceparts to match the headlamps.

I took the indicators off, and someone had clearly messed around with one of them ; the spring clip wasn't there and a single self-tapper had been used to hold it in. The other was rusty as heck, both screws the same so appears to have never been removed. Fine, the DIY bit clearly worked for years and I'm not worried about it being a bit of a bodge as long as it works, it's only holding the sidelight in after all.

I took out the fitting for the one that had been messed with, popped the new LED in, tested it, it worked fine and was as bright as the original. However when I went to do the other, the fitting was completely different.

The fitting that could be replaced is an LED with a metal screw fitting with the contact on the end (like a torch bulb)

The one that couldn't be replaced, is a metal sprung slot, the bulb is just a glass bulb with folded metal prongs coming out, when you push the bulb in they form the contact with the metal spring slot. This was the one on the side that appeared original (rusty screws with spring in place)

Am I correct in thinking the one that could be replaced is a replacement of some sort, if so which PN do I need to order to enable me to use the LED bulb? Is that a fitting for a different bulb somewhere on the car (indicator maybe?)

TIA

FWIW, on RHS of car (includes rusty screw and spring clip "design") I had a normal bayonet fit bulb. Never got around to opening the LHS because did not like the look of the LED bulb.
