Can anybody tell me if a 944 s2 front splitter would fit my 1986 944?[8|]
Many thanks
Yes, it won't.

But, as the front styling on a Lux is much nicer, please leave it alone.....[]

If on the other hand you just mean the bit under the bumper then that will only fit with the S2/Turbo bumper.

That is indeed a splitter.
I believe you can get a Lux splitter, though I've not seen one myself.
I am sure that Porsche designed the balance of power and aerodynamics on the Lux to not need a splitter? I have the original venturi-effect rear valance. Pictured left. []

It does look nice. If someone were to find one, and make a mould, I would think they might sell a good few - it being a Porsche replica and not a Chav upgrade.
I'm assuming the rear window insert is an internal version of the rear window louvres favoured by the "stripes and fury dice" brigade of the 70's. Seeing how all these things go in cycles they must be ripe for a come back. I think it would look the veritable dogs danglies on the inside of the rear screen on a '44, very pseudo mid engined super car.
No, it's just some dark Lexan the same shape as the glass, AKAIK. I'll post a piccy later...ORIGINAL: John Sims

Assuming Jim is right and it isn't as you describe I still think you should make it. As you once said to me "that sounds like a well thought out and considered modification. You must do it now, it's the law"
