I (know someone) took out the front splitter from my S2 for some repainting later. I (know someone) have driven it today mainly on the M40 and M25 (360 miles) today and have noticed that the steering feels a bit soft (when doing 100mph) which I (know someone) never felt that way before.
I always thought that the front splitter's main purpose is to improve down force when cornering but not on the straights. Could this soft steering feel be caused by the removal of the splitter or is it something else?
Put it this way, I (know someone) just feel a bit less confident when driving the S2 faster.
