Aren't these splitters pretty vunreble to kerbs? I've noticed a few times when parking square on to kerbs that the first 6" or so of the front of the car clears a std height kerb, would a splitter still clear the kerb?

The ESS one actually gives more ground clearance than the OE batwing as it is flat rather than having a profile. Obviously it sticks out the front though so it's both more and less vulnerable.

The ESS one is a complete undertray meaning it does some good as a splitter as opposed to being cosmetic - any types that just attach round the rim of the PU are functionally limited as they are attached to a flexible mount.

Well you are right there Scott!!

I actually ripped my orginal lower undertray skirt off the PU in a Tesco Car Park (embarrassed!)
Hence why I am looking for a replacement with a splitter fitted.
Fen I bought one of those bolt on splitters and would not even fit it to my car it was so bad.
Are the Club Aurosport and the Porscheshop ones bolt on round the rim or inclusive of the undertray?

Cheers
Tom
