Front Tyre Scrub

I have 20" wheels on my 991.1. However it suffers from front wheel scrub/judder/jump when on manoeuvering on full or nearly full lock. Is this normal as the front tyres are showing signs of cracking on the outer tread edges even though they have plenty of tread. It is a problem previously experienced when I owned a 996 with 18" wheels, but thought Porsche may have resolved the problem by now. Is there a solution, apart from fitting smaller wheels?

I have found that my tyres scrubbbed when using PZero summer tyres in cold weather. I now change to Michelin PSCup 2s in th ewinter and have no problems, both on 20s.

Totally agree with Dylan1. More pronounced on tyres with less tread, which is why it's often reduced when changing to new tyres.

Cheers,
Bryan
