Front under tray

My 1965 911 has never had a front under tray, the protection beneath the steering rack. I have done the normal Google search and have only come up with the rubber seal. Can you get them anywhere, I remember asking a my Porsche dealer about 20 years ago and they were not listed then.

My 1968 911L did not have an undertray when purchased in 2010 (commented on in pre-purchase inspection report).
They are available from Porsche for LHD models for 1968, not sure if this would fit your 1965 model.

Canford Classics i believe had a batch of RHD ones made around 2012 but I missed out on that.

There are LHD trays available on EBay USA from time to time which could probably be modified to fit.

I have cut/bent some 1 mm Aluminium sheet to fit and fitted myself. I am waiting for the edging strip from my local OPC (which reminds me they haven't rung me back for more than a week).

The tray also protects the brakes master cylinder as well as part of the rack which is why I was keen to get something in place.

Good luck searching.

I had (or I might still have) a LHD undertray but they are a mirror image to the correct one, it was beyond my metal work skills to change it. I'll see if I can find it and have another go.

Hi
RHD under tray belly pans are hard to find. LHD versions are available from many places including Porsche.
It is also possible that the various model years made the belly pans slightly different.
You may find this is s long term search for the correct part.
