I have noticed im getting alot of scratches in the glass whem im putting the window up and down. The rubbers are far too tight against the glass inside and out.
Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks
AL

It's a known problem with 911's. [:(]

If the glass is permanently scratched, get your OPC to sort it under warranty. [8|]

My front windows are badly smeared every time I roll them up and down. Don't seem to be scratched tho. OPC in Sutton Coldfield have ordered new seals under warranty - got to wait a couple of weeks for the parts to arrive from Germany to see it that cures it.

Mines the same with smearing on the inside about 8" wide startung from the front, its one thing after another with Porsche..
Getting sick of it now , gonna get rid of it and get a quality built car.

I can put up with the minor issues because I get more "smiles per mile" from my tt than anything else I've ever owned. It even makes me smile when I walk past it in the garage to take my wife's sensible, practical Audi (A6) Allroad out to do the "chores"!

I'd suggest you may be missing the driving pleasure of the 911, if not then I think your option would be the best one to follow.
I have smearing windows from the grease inside the door, I clean the window and carry on driving it....[&:]

I enjoy the driving and the way it corners etc but I have had 911's before and never had all this issues.
I live in the Highlands and can get the car almost flat out easily on deserted mountain roads + corners to die for but im gonna sell and get a Gallardo as my mate has one and the quality is amazing and it handles like nothing else.
No squeakes, no buzzing or vibrations and certainly no scrathches on the glass from putting your windows up and down.
