Front Windscreen - replace outside rubber trim

How easy in reality is it to remove and replace the outside rubber trim on the front windscreen.

The manual describes it as a simple operation ?

Mine appears to be stuck firmly to the body, and as yet I have not attempted to peel it off !

I have done this on one of my 993's before and it did not appear to be so firmly stuck in.

Secondly, any idea on cost for a new rubber trim ?
