This event was built around the 924 model.
This year, so far, we have 1 924 entry for the Rally. That does not include my two cars.
What is wrong with this Register?

The event is on Sunday 5th October and starts at Cornbury House.
Entry forms may be obtained my sending an e mail to director@porscheclubgb.com

Geoff,
Possibly because Sunday the 5th October is actually a Tuesday -[:D] however it is rather a long way for us from the north -as I have just bought another 924S,I might grace you with my presence, but only if I can claim expenses[:)].
Cheers,
Colin.

A not entirely serious thought - Cayennes included? [;)]

Maybe it needs to be held in different regions to share out the travelling?

i expect to be there but i'm not bothered about doing the rally. its an hour and a quarter drive to just to get there, across country. [8D]

has frontrunners become another cotswold rally ?

It sort of did in a way, hence being moved back to later in the year. Apart from it being similar events close together it was a bit unfair on poor young Geoff to be organising both in the same month!

Mainly, Frontrunner is about the front-engined Registers getting together to meet, swap experience, buy and sell parts etc. and generally have a good day out at Cornbury House. The rally in the afternoon does add an extra, but it's not the main focus of the day as with the Cotswold.

fair anough. guess we've got the car to drive them. but, i'm on limited milage so i'll proberly head to the pub for a spot of lunch then go home.

It is a Club main event therefore it is entirely appropriate to hold it at our Headquarters.

The event is only 40 miles. Maybe your are worried that our Cotswold Roads arn't wide enough for a Panzernera..[:D]

I've just made an executive decision [8|]
All members booking for the rally in advance (before 20th September) will receive 2 x vouchers for 2.50 (pounds) per car. These vouchers will be redeamable at the fast food outlet on site.
Basicly I am giving you your money back..[:)]

Not on Frontrunner. Not for a fiver..[:-]

Doh, sorry! Typed that at 1am when I should have been asleep...

Will do my best to secure that day off from work (yes I work Sundays...) and get myself there.

Entries for the rally are now closed.
BUT
This is only one part of this event. It is a social meeting of all those with an interest in Front Engine Porsche. There is also a a Car boot Autojumble where you bring unwanted parts and othe Porsche related item and sell them from the boot of your Porsche. There is no fee for this or for attendance. Just come along and ejoy.

How far away from Prescott Hillclimb is the club?

I will be on my way home on Sun and may call in with the supercharged car if there was space for the rig and its not a long way off track.
Cheers
Simon
