Paul.
How about running a 'Bring and Buy' stall in Cornbury House. Items being for front engine cars only. Thoughts please.

i think thats a great idea personally. Is there going to be another run this year, because i couldnt do the last one?

Andy

Sounds like an idea Geoff

If memory serves, all such items present would have to be secondhand with no traders to stay within Club and rules.

I am not sure that allpies anymore as we have recently had a trade day at Cornbury House. I would suggest that you contact Robin Walker for a ruling. It would be nice to have just a couple of traders specialising in our cars.
My idea was to have a large table inside the building where members could sell their unwanted spares (small items only inside wree could have an area of car park allocated for larger items such as engines, doors, wings etc.) and maybe charge a small commission (10%) for a good caurse. I would suggest the conservation fund for the Clubs 356.
What do you all think?

How about this for a format for members Items.

Large table in Cornbury House manned by a couple or more volunteers. Members bring items that they wish to sell clearly marked with description, name of seller and the actual price (no kite flying as the volunteers would be unable to haggle for them)
Small items must be paid in cash. More expensive items could be paid by cheque (with card) if seller agrees.
End of daysellers collect unsold items and get paid for items sold with a 10% deduction for a good caurse.

It would require a bit of elementary book keeping but that should be no problem.
