I know that the classic iconic porsche look is a white 911 turbo with whale tail and polished rimmed black centre fuchs.
I was hoping to recreate that 'style' when i eventually get my 944.
the question is was the fuch option ever offered on the 944 (i have seen early models with a fuch look (cookie cutters with black centres) and is anyone running or got photos of that combination

yep... 944's on fuchs look top!!

come in various sizes, the turbos had 8" and 9"... like this..

Yes, Fuchs were offered on 944 models up to the introduction of abs on the oval dash model. I have 7" & 8" x 16" Fuchs on my 86 model lux (polished rims, black centres, silver centre cap).

Fuchs was offered on early 951s (7 & 8 x 16).

8" in the front and 9" (930) in the rear is a great upgrade

They were, but only the 23mm offset cars. 7" x 16" will fit late cars running ATE calipers, although the front offset will be very far from ideal. Cars with Brembo brakes will not be able to fit them and even if they can theyll need the 951 pefixed parts, which have the required backspace.
