Fuchs on a 944 turbo (87+)

Does anybody know if it is possible to get standard 16" Fuchs from a 3.2 Carrera to fit a 944 turbo with the ABS hubs (87+)?

The rears work okay but the fronts foul on the calipers in a big way?

Any thoughts gratefully received.

Try spacers, they are readily available from most suppliers such as Jasmin, Porscheshop etc.etc
I'm sure someone will post where they got theirs for just a few fingers rather than the usual arm & a leg.

Hi Fen

The rears run close to the wheel arch and fronts foul on the calipers. Real shame because they look fantastic on a guards red turbo!

By the way, how did you get on with the 968CS MO30 arb?

Regards

Darren,[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Didn't realise it was you. I'm surprised the rears fit - they should stick out about 30mm further than intended. I take it you have another Turbo then; the previous one was black wasn't it?[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I ordered the rear ARB then got a price of less than expected for the Weltmeister ones (which I managed to better again as it turned out) so I ended up selling the whole kit to Mark Dalton for money back. He is pretty happy with them though I think.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

The rears will fit, but the fouling of the calipers is the reason Porsche designed the alternate offset 8" rims
