Hi The wheels on my 89 Supersport have polished rims could anybody tell me if this would have been a factory option from the anodised spec or would they have been polished at a later date.

They would have been subsequently polished as originally they would have been anodised. Cheers, Nick.

Thanks could anyone recommend a company for refurb back to standard, have been looking at buying new but can only get hold of fronts no 16 inch rears available anywhere.

Canford Classics in Dorset do a tremendous job of refurbishing back to factory spec. including re-anodising - not everybody does that. Alternatively, if you fancy a change (polished or body coloured petals, for example) they can do that as well. Contact details in your 'Porsche file'

Try your local OPC, mine sourced a pair of 9 x 16 Fuchs, they were expensive but not as much as I have seen second hand ones go for.

Solihull was my local OPC.
