Fuel Damper Hoses - Group Buy?

I believe that the S2 rail and damper are a different thread (M14 1.5) so this won't work I'm afraid, you'd need standard -AN6 hose ends and then 2 x adaptors.

I've just got off the phone with Alex at Torques.co.uk about an -AN6 to M16 adaptor to fit my replacement fuel feed line to my damper better than the shonky adaptor that's already on there that the previous owner found god knows where. I enquired about a hose end that would go on an -AN6 hose and be M16 at the end already and he said he could get them made up but he'd need a minimum order of 50.

Brain started ticking . . .

After chatting, he said that he could make up a self-assembly kit of 2 x 90 degree M16 1.5 fittings and a foot of stainless steel or black nylon braided Teflon hose for somewhere in the region of £35 posted.

These would be available in either the standard AN colours of red and blue or in stealth black.

I know that this hose kit won't suit everyone as it isn't OEM (Ken, I'm looking at you [:D]) but is a very cost effective and viable replacement for the stock damper line. If enough people don't want to go in to make it viable but you wanted to change the hose anyway then you would need to replace the 90 degree fittings with standard 90 degree -AN6 fittings and then add 2 x -AN6 to M16 1.5 adapters at £9.29 each. The standard replacement hose is £53 according to the other thread so this isn't miles cheaper but the fittings and hose are far better and a good "fit and forget" solution.

So add you name to the list if you're interested along with what colour fittings you'd prefer, if we get 25 takers then I'll get Alex to get the parts made up in whichever colour is the majority - it will take approximately 20 days to have the fittings made.

For clarity; I have no vested interest in this, Alex at Torques would fulfil the orders and all kits would be purchased directly from him.
