Fuel filter location

I'm planning on changing out the fuel filter.

I can only seem to find the location in the engine bay behined the header tank for the GT3, can anyone tell me where on the lines the fuel filter is?

Also will any bleeding of the system be required? I've changed a lot of fuel filters and most petrols don't require bleeding like diesels, however, my daily driver suffers from vapour lock if the fuel filter is changed without bleeding the system so though I would check.

I am pretty sure there isn't one,Otherwise that would be done in the major service
I am sure OPC Exeter told me it is in the tank

There is a fuel filter on the early 996's. On C2's you have to remove the undertray to get to it. It is in the centre tunnel alongside the coolant pipes.

Edit: On C4's it is by the coolant header tank. And no - you don't have to bleed it.
