fuel gauge

My fuel gauge appears to be sticking at half full,took the sender out and it appers to work correctly,the gauge however only goes down to half full,however the reserve light still comes on!!
Can anyone tell me or send me a pic of the 3 pin connector on the fuel sender as i am wondering if the wires have been puy in the wrong sequence.

I think you have invented a new fault for our cars [:(]
 
well on the plus side it always tells me I have a full tank when the engine is running. [:D]
 
found out what the issue was, took out the pod and the clip thats in the center of the car, (nearest the center out of the 3) was loose, cleaned it up and refitted, no more full fuel tank :( but at least it works now.
