Hi all,
I've got some corroded pipework on my fuel lines and was looking to do the fix inexpensively i.e. rubber hose; the unions are also looking pretty worse for wear too. I was wonderng whether it is straight forward enough to replace the fuel return line (I'm assuming this is he one going to the top of the tank, and not the one connected to the filter) all the way to where it feeds into the tank under the carpet in the boot.
Is this do-able, or is the distance between where the tube goes up beside the tank and reappears in the boot tricky to manouevre? Should I get a new union to connect the rubber hoses together?
Thanks,
Neil
btw I took the car for a power run a few weeks ago, and it's still making 150 at the wheels, which I thought was pretty good!
