Fuel mixture quickie

Good evening, just a quick question about my 1989 Carrera if anyone could help. The fuel mixture was discovered to be a little bit high today at MOT time (3.5). Does anyone know which way you turn the mixture screw on the airflow meter, as I can't find that little snippet wrtitten down anywhere?

Chris,
Anti-clockwise to weaken (lets more air in) clockwise to richen, screw is upside down so think which way is which, small turns may big difference to mixture.
