Fuel Pipes

OK, yesterday I was jolly chuffed with myself. After a couple of advisories about corroded fuel pipes I thought that since I am iminently going to get the KW installed that since the rear axel was going to be dropped that now was the opportune time to fit new pipes. I tried my local breakers and he came up trumps - a pair of almost new fuel pipes fitted to a fire damaged car they had just broken - they are in pristene condition with the OEM stickers still attached. I did a deal for £125 and drove off a very happy man. However after speaking to Promax today they told me that the pipes on an S2 and late turbo's are different - they have a screw fitting at the front where the pipe connects to the rubber hose that connects to the FPR and the damper on the fuel rail - wheras the early turbos had crimped connections. Therefore I'm wondering if anyone has the rubber hoses that connect to the FPR and damper lying around in their parts bins? I would guess the OEM items are pretty pricy and if I were to buy the front portion of the fuel pipes it would blow any saving i'd made buying 2nd hand out of the water.
