Fuel Tank Replacement

The old tank is out and we have a large hole in the front of the car.

No rust to speak of which is a good sign, and what little surface markings there are from the battery etc. will be cleaned up and shining before the tank goes in.

This is where we start from, so will follow up with pictures of it going in.

Fuel pump looks very dirty, and I have two new rubber 'cotton reels' to fit. May replace pump if I get around to it, although this one is just fine for now.

The screen washer pump had an odd pipe arrangement - see photo. One pipe in and one out, but the 'in' pipe has a 'T' piece and a length of pipe with a screw in the end - all very odd. Have now simply got one in and one out - let me know if this is wrong for any reason.

Also found the alarm mount to be quite flaky with rust, so hammerite will do for that.

Will also get to hammerite the belly pan to clean it up.

Why can't I upload more than one picture at a time ?

I try and it says only one per post - I have seen others more more than one though !
