I was going to replace the missing carbon canister that should be in the rear wheel arch on my 3.2(it has been removed, and the two pipes just cut off in the wheel arch),but the bracket looks beyond repair. If i dont replace it,whats the best way to vent the fuel tank.
The 3.2 club sport does not have the carbon canister,so does anyone know how tank is vented on that model.
Thanks for any help.
Andrew.

Hi Andy, have just cut out my old bracket and replaced it with a new item from local Porsche main dealer - £22 plus vat. Not too expensive and easy job.

Thanks for the reply,i am going to have another look at the bracket. One other question:
The carbon canister i got from porsche has two connections one end(which i know goes to the air box and fuel tank) but it also has a connection the other end marked "luft".What connects to this.
Help!
Andrew

Andrew,
On mine there are two pipes entering the canister (material coated) and one plastic pipe leaving the canister, bending and facing forward to the front of the car. It does just vent the cannister.
