Full Lock Judder

I have a problem when I put the car on full lock either way where it seem that the car is dragging a tyre round. The best I can describe what I think is going on, and I dont think that its anywhere near this bad, but imagine two wheels on the same axle, one turned to 20 degrees the other 30 degrees. As they move one wheel turns a tighter corner than the other, this happens to the limit of one of the tyres grip at which point it "jumps" back to a point where the axle isnt being pulled apart.

My question is, has anyone else got this? And is it normal, and is it just the tracking?

Not sure if this is the same problem as yours ..

I had a tyre rubbing/scraping sound when cornering very fast around small roundabouts.
It turned out to be the rear brake/handbrake, I stripped down the brakes, removed the disc's, pads to check the tolerance of wear on the pads/discs.
I noticed that the inside of the disc, where the handbrake shoes make contact, was full of rust and brake dust.
I also brushed the dust off the brake pads.

Maybe the handbrake cable is bending and pulling on the handbrake when the suspension is up in the air (cornering very fast).
It seems fine now...

Here's a pic of the inside of the disc after cleaning.

If you mean when reversing, then that is pretty much what IS happening. It's normal.
I've not encountered it going forwards, but with the big fat tyres we have on these cars some scrub is going to happen at full lock.

Cheers Mark, I kind of expected something like that, it only happens if I turn full lock at very low speed for a 90 degree turn going forwards (coming off the drive). It might not help that my driveway is extremely steep!

I think it's normal according to older posts on this topic. Mine does it in reverse only when I come off my sloping drive. I don't really notice it at any other time.
