Full system exhaust

If you want to go away from standard,Promax do a full stainless system, they have it on demo on one of their turbos,it has a button you press if you want to go noisy/or quiet there is a movie somewhere of it in action but i can't remember where i saw it...[&o]

ESS used to do a full system (which I have) but their website only seems to show the tail pipes now, might be worth contacting them though.

Would the PorscheShop full system fit the turbo?

No, they only sell a back box for the Turbo (which you could get much cheaper from Bert at www.berlyn-services.co.uk ). The front pipe needs a junction for the wastegate to tie into, so a N/A front pipe would not fit.

Are you looking for something to gain performance or replacing a worn out or holed existing pipe?

Hayward and Scott will do a custom system for whatever you need but it will cost circa £700 - http://www.haywardandscott.com/Details.asp?ProdID=216&category=16

Manifolds too [] ££££££££

Is that because yours are cracked?

I don't know of anywere in the UK that lists them as a stock item, though I'm sure ayward and Scott could make some. In the US there are some made by Speedforce Racing at http://www.speedforceracing.com/productsporsche_headersstage1.php

This is their Stage 1 headers (as they like to call manifolds) and they start at $995 US

They also do a complete 3" and 4" exhaust system and downpipe if you wanted to go the whole hog $$$$$$$

OMG!!! what about new OEM? or dont they make them anymore? i just want to make my porsche as clean as possible.

I love this engine bay and its the reason why i want it so clean:

Course they do, just ring your local OPC, or better still call Chris at Exeter OPC and mention the forum to get the best prices. Last time I enquired about a back box it was circa £600 but they tend to use a fluid pricing system that changes all the time so it's always worth a call.

You could also try some of the breakers around for a used set. There is no point in replacing your manifold for cosmetic reasons as you can see it from the engine bay and a used set will work just as well as a new set.

But why new manifolds? I'm anticipating that they will cost a fortune and cannot see what you are getting from them? It's be far more cost effective to go for a complete new Hayward & Scott system upto the manifold and keep your existing manifold - maybe give it a bit of a cleaning up.

Actually if a full H&S system is £700 it is not bad value for money. My ESS back-box was £350 so to think you could get the rest of the system for another £350 seems good value to me.
