Hi Everyone

Due to the popularity of the May 22 fun event on Curborough sprint track, we have booked another date on Thursday August 28.

If you are interested in joining us please let me know via email, on the forum, club night or telephone

The price will be the same - £35.00 per car for the whole day.

Hopefully this will mean all those that were disappointed will now be able to join us

Again it will be first come first served basis and a payment cheque will secure a place. Numbers will be limited to enable enough track time for all participants.

If you just want to come along to see what the day is all about you will be more than welcome

Cheers

Kerry and Tom

Hi Everyone
We have decided not to have the chuck wagon for this event but will be providing free teas and coffee.
Suggest you bring a picnic for lunch.
Look forward to seeing you all on the 28th
The drivers briefing will be at 10.30 and start on track around 11. Lunch 1 - 2 and finish at 5.
Cheers

Could well be interested in this if I can get the day off. Will know more on Monday

My 911 probably wont be ready, so is it ok to bring another toy instead assuming there is a space available ?

Rgds

Steve

Hi Steve
No problems with bringing another toy [:D]
Hope you can manage the day off as we do still have 2 spaces available

Will let you know on Monday Tom :)

Another great day @ Curborough & many new faces.

I'm now a bit red faced, mainly from the sun - but maybe also related to some "in-field" activity where driver exuberance overcame car control skills / available grip :)

I'll now also hopefully permanently remember the guidance on removing all loose items from the cockpit before driving - after the incident where the garage remote control appeared from under my drivers seat & was temporarily under the brake pedal when I wanted to slow for the hairpin.
I thought for a few moments that I was going to inspect the undergrowth / bank at the end of the course, but the remote moved out of the way enough at the last moment to allow partial braking with at least 2 wheels on the tarmac. Very silly mistake !

Good to see / meet everybody. I might have some video footage from inside the car to amuse everyone after some editing.

Thanks to Tom & Kerry for organising / providing tea, coffee & biscuits.

Thank you for a great day at Curborough. We where lucky with the weather and a good day was had by all. Another good event

by Kerry Tom and the team.

Best wishes

Alan and Carol (R9)

We are sure that all that attended enjoyed the day because we certainly did.
All the cars remained on the warm and dry black stuff with just a few squiggly moments (you know who you are Paul) and there was more than enough track time for all of us
It was great to see Anna becoming steadily quicker in her dad's 924s
See you all next year to 'do it all again'
Cheers
Kerry and Tom
