Funny old World

I very rarely scan the Porsche 944S2 for sale on ebay...perhaps once a year or less .
This morning I was casually looking to see how much they were fetching these days and spotted a 944S2 89 model in Baltic Blue with linen seats exactly the same as mine.

Imagine my surprise when I sudden't realised that the registration was the same as one I had once owned back in 2005.!

I'd broken my back and wasn't expecting to be able to drive again any time soon so I advertised it and sold it .I later received an email thanking me for the car and saying that he had managed 130mph on the way home before bottling it !.

Well there it is on sale today G 406 ATR I wondered if it might be owned by an existing PCGB member and what had happened to the car in the intervening 10 years.
The curious thing is that had I not read through over 75 documents in my Porsche folder yesterday I would never had seen the DVLA change of ownership note with the registration number and would probably never had made the connection .....funny old World isn't it !

Bet that was a surprise seeing that peanut.....looks to still be in good order. Baltic blue with linen sports leather is probably my number 1 favourite combo. Interestingly, the opening bid price is exactly what I paid for my S.2 back in 2004 with full OPC history and approx. 115k miles(now 164k). Out of interest, can you remember how much you sold it for back in 2005?

I can't remember now . I think I might have paid around £5500 and sold it a few months later for £5000 ?
My partner did the selling , with me shouting instructions from my chair in the kitchen . She cannot even remember selling it !:ROFLMAO:
The current owner has clearly looked after the car and spent some money and time on it . For what is essentially a supercar its very cheap really.
