Hi. After trying to change the dead glovebox light bulb and blowing a fuse ( It’s worse than that??) I found the red pull out tab for the bonnet release has been pushed in at some point in the previous 3 owners care and I cannot pull it out! I’ve used all manner of tools including the supplied rod with hook on the end! It looks like it will require detaching the panel and I’m not really confident I could do it so is it a simple but costly job at dealers ? Also, I’ve found that the likely problem with the light bulb in glove box is due to a micro switch behind the glove box and is again beyond my skills??. The cars due an intermediate service in about six weeks so I guess it would make sense to have these attended to then?
