G511 - PCGB members car.

Hi all,

I'm looking to add a 944 to the collection and have come across a members car in a dealer. Its a nice looking car, but a decent distance from me so hoping to see if anyone knows the car. Was apparently in Porsche classic magazine also. Does anybody have any idea? Anyone on here perhaps? Dealer claims sills are 'mint' but I'll be taking my DFT... I couldn't find anything in the for sale searches on here. PCGB (old/non region type) sticker still in the window.

I spent 10 hours in the car yesterday to go and collect an eBay purchase that was AWFUL on arrival, so walked away (a legitimate option given the vehicle was a long way from the description - A296PAE in Devizes btw. Sills full of filler and generally very tatty/bodged will be back on eBay soon I'd imagine)

I'm looking for a solid non turbo, I don't mind some mechanicals, but rust is a no no for me. It'll be a regular driver (along with a 997 c2s and a 986 boxster) but bodywork isn't my thing. Perfectly happy with spanners and know my way around a workshop, so looking for a lower cost/higher mile driver rather than a low miles queen. Happy to buy a car with replacement sills with provenance of a quality job. I've spent long enough looking at 944's and the same amount of time watching money in the bank doing nothing, so have justified a parking spot to some bank balance...

Thanks

If it was G151 then isn't that ex skyline's old car? Black turbo. I know it from previous owners and the CS wheels are on mine!
PS can't find the Devizes car, got a link?
