I think i'm in the right section here but if not then mods feel free to move me.

Now back in the motherland and wanted to say a big thank you to Alan Seddon for organising this weekend just gone with some great driving roads and weather to match (which I thought was impossible in scotland [:D])

A really great weekend with lots of new friends from scotland, N.Ireland and even some english!

If anyones got pictures, stories and the like post them here as well as anything on the distillery that was less believable than the loch ness monster !![:D] [:D]

regards

Like they'd forget you that quickly.

They are probably all seeing counsellors this week before getting emergency injunctions to keep you away [:D][:D]

Sounds like you had a good time, wish I could have joined you.

You'd have enjoyed it mate

You have to eat like a horse, drink like a fish and drive like a demon....which as you know are all my forte's [;)]

joking apart though rob, great roads with great company....its what porsche club is good at

Just arrived home from the same fantastic weekend. We must weigh at least half a stone more than when we set off.
Jeremy sums it all up beautifully in a few words, and it would be impossible to find anything to complain about. The distillary was an hilarious highlight, like a cross between Rising Damp and Disneyworld.

It was really great to meet up again with friends from Northern Ireland and Scotland, and our thanks must go to Alan and Fiona for all their hard work in putting the weekend together.

In case anybody thinks we just sat about eating and drinking all the time, our trip meter was reading 1125 miles as we pulled into the drive at home. Most of that mileage was on a tour of the most spectacular scenery anyone could wish for, including Glen Coe, Loch Ness, Lochs Ewe and Torridan, and the Wester Ross coastal trail. It was fantastic.

I would like to second the praise for Alan's organisation. A great trip and my mileage total is 1401

and mac&sue should get another award for services to porsche club dancing.....[;)]

Region 27

We also would like to thank Alan Seden for the brillant weekend in Gairloch. The organised drives with lunch stops where great. We covered 870 miles from home along with a ferry crossing lol - it was good to catch up with old friends and lots of new friends from the different regions.

We will be back hopefully next year[:)]

[:D][:D] Thought the distillery was the best bit[;)] cant believe I actually paid £5.00 to listen to some old man talk about whiskey in his freezing cold barn, then we bought some of his 'bottled on the same day' whiskey at £15 - must be mad - bet it is rotten lol
