Some pictures from the weekend.

It just so happens that there was a organised run the same weekend with a dozen or so Porsche cars all staying in the hotel next to us.

We only found out the following morning so never managed to gate crash the party. Pity.

I sure a few have traveled the same route, just under 600 miles over the weekend.

Long fast run, beer, good chat, sleep. Breakfast, long fast run, few pictures along the way, home.

Pretty much a perfect weekend.

Fantastic route and some great pictures, looks like you also had some sunshine too.

Might be an idea to remove your home address (postcode) Public forum after all [:)]

Tom, photos look brilliant, great reminder of a top trip.
Will stick some on tomorrow with a route map for anyone who's interested (my pics not in same class as Toms!)

We knocked it off weather wise and got to enjoy some amazing roads. Long but very enjoyable trip with some 'spirited' driving.

We were spoiled for choice, but my favourite stretch was the road down the side of Loch Maree, long sweeping bends, clear visibility and lovely smooth roads.

Very fortunate to have such amazing scenery and driving roads right on our doorstep!

Tom,

Your pictures are of exceptional professional quality.

Would love to come on a run with you, if only to get some pics of my car!

Alastair

Great photos!

I'm very fortunate to live on the banks of Loch Maree just off the road mentioned by GJN (the A832)!!

Welcome to my playground......

I latched onto the PCGB R1 group on Saturday (thanks Alan for letting me do it!) for their trip from Gairloch to the Applecross peninsula including the amazing Bealach na Ba. It was great fun with some spirited driving on fab roads.

Alastair,

Very kind of you to say you like the pictures. I genuinely enjoy photography and I am trying to learn as I go. I find that I can sometimes over edit but hopefully I will refine my style and end up with a consistent feel that shows off the cars well.

Scott has asked on a few occasions to set up a photo shoot with a group of members . Its my intention to do this in the near future.

Did you have the bodywork on the SC done at PB, if so its a stunning car and it would be great to take some proper pictures of the car and the immaculate engine.

Cheers

Tom

I know nothing about photography, but you manage to capture the curvaceous shapes very well.

Also, (I assume through editing) the primary colours are really striking bringing the cars right out of the picture.

Keep up the good work.

PS

Yes, bodywork and paint by Stuart and Colin at Performance Bodyshop at Chapelhall.
Impeccable quality at a very reasonable cost. Genuine enthusiasts with a passion for the marque.

Stunning photos again Tom...... but they always are, just wish I could get to grips with my camera and do something half as good.

Let me know when you intend taking some shots of members cars as I would love to get some nice photographs of the prancing horse.

Kenny

Looks like a great run from both groups and one I really must tackle at some point and as usual pictures are a treat, if you are not aware of Steve carters website who is a photographer/petrolhead that lives up at torridon, pictures of Scotland at its finest

Link to some more pics if anyone is interested, the weather on the Saturday made for some cracking shots.

Cheers, Gordon.

Gordon, there are some really nice pictures on there.

I now wish we had stopped more and taken in more of the surroundings, it was truly breathtaking scenery.

I glad our average speed was close to 30mph otherwise we would have seen nothing of it!
