Sorry Michael, Gallery pictures on the main PCGB site are for club members only. If you are a club member you need to get your forum status changed, and you will then be able to access the Technical Articles and FAQ sections of the 996 forum, and other areas. Call the club office with your membership number and forum name, and they will change your status.

I have wondered about the photos on the gallery and having tried to insert a photo on a few occassions, I have given up.

I followed all of the instructions and the photo was the correct size, but although my settings say that it should include a embedded photo, one never shows up.

Can someone magic me my photo too please?

You do mean the main club web site, not the forum, don't you? If so, only the 996 Register Secretary can do that. Or me, as I have the administrator login details for the 996 pages of the main site. Let me have a photo and I'll add it to the gallery for you.

You and me both, I can post pics on any other forum but on here I gave up and I have followed the instructions.
 
So long as I paste a full URL to an image that's already on the web (for me, that's Picasa web) the image embedding seems to behave itself. But its important to check the URL does actually work before you use it - obviously it only takes one character wrong or missing and the embed will fail.

Tried this and doesn't work, I can see it in post before I submit but when I preview or post it disappears.
