Just looking at getting one of those gauge pod thingys that sit on the 'A' pillar. They are available for l.h.d. cars but I don't know where to get one for a r.h.d. car. I noticed that Rick looks to have one on his avatar. Any ideas here?

Thanks Rick although I can't quite find that particular mount, there are a few alternatives. By the way, have you any experience with the 'Spa' gauges? They look good and have the added dual gauge design. They do seem a bit expensive but I guess they're 2 in 1 so not so bad.

Patrick, there are lots of generic A pillar pods on Ebay from 2.99 and upwards. However there are none specifically designed for RHD 944s [:(] Lindsey do an entire A pillar trim with the pods built in but I asked them if they could reverse the mold and make a RHD version but they didnt think there was enough of a marke to justify the cost.

What makes it worse for me is my trim is blue so the generic black ones would stick out even more.

Ok thanks Paul. The more I think of it the more I feel having the crucial ones in the eyeline like on the dash seems a better idea anyway. Even in the 'A' pillar you will have to avert your vision from the road and as you know when on the track, that seems somewhat silly and unnatural. What gauges are you thinking of anyway? I'm looking at oil temp, oil pressure (although the stock one is meant to be good), egts, a/f etc...
