Gauge Removal Help Pls

Hi,

Can anyone pls assist with instructions[8|] as to how you remove the combined oil temp/oil pressure gauge from the dash as I wish to check the multi plug connections on the back.

It's only held in by the tension and friction of the rubber surround. If you use a flat blade screwdriver and protect the end with some tape to avoid scratching the bezel you should be able to lever the gauge out gradually until you can get hold of it with your fingers.

It's one of those "slowly, slowly, catchee monkey" type jobs!!!

Took gauge out as you suggested and checked multiplugs on the back but the oil temp side is still playing about so I have ordered a secondhand one from douglas valley with 3 months warrenty for £75.00 + vat much cheaper than opc @ £318.29 +vat ![]
