Just recieved an e-mail from Gawsworth hall who tell me they hold a car show every year. And inviting my region to take part,This year is On Bankholiday Monday 3rd May.

But its outside my region. is this something that region 5 takes part in? and if so can we gatecrash??

Helen
On behalf of Lloyd (& R5), who I'm sure won't object, all are invited and encouraged to come along - I think Dave Baker of Lancs & Cumbria is also arranging a run out.
Gawsworth Hall is a lovely quaint house and Rupert the owner is a Porsche (& Morgan) driver/enthusiast. We have had a PCGB attendance for the last 3 years and the event is always very well attended. The TIPEC group also turn up so overall we have a very impressive display of Porsche cars.

Hi Helen

Do you know if they accept dogs ?
We might bring along the hot dog again.
I'll have to clean it again after a day at Brands Hatch.

What are you bringing this time ?

Cheers
Trevor

yes, they even have bowls of water out for them by the cafe.

?? expect the poor dog will need more than just a bath after a day on track. we usually use a car [;)][:D][:D]

Always a good season-opener, with a large variety of marques represented. This year Porsche have been allocated the whole of the top field, and we are arranging dedicated parking areas for the 928 and 968 Registers.
The cost of admission to the Gawsworth Show is £3.50 p.p. (which includes access to the Hall). Pay on the gate. To reach Gawsworth from the M6, leave at Junction 17 and follow A534 to Congleton. Join the A34 to bypass the town, then take A536 (for Macclesfield). Gawsworth is signed to the right after about 5 miles. From South Manchester use A34 or A523, then follow local roads.

Hi Nicola,

Do you know if the cost of admission to the Gawsworth Show of £3 per person is a discounted price for PGM members only ?
I seen a price of £5 pp in the local paper, but only if you ring them up first, I think its normally £6 per head.

Regards,
Chris.
