Gawsworth: Low Ground Clearance

R5RO

PCGB Member
Gawsworth Hall Classic Car Show organiser Rupert Richards has very kindly allocated a further, small but prestigious display area for Porsches with particularly low ground clearance, to avoid them having to negotiate the usual access to the main Porsche display area. Any PCGB & TIPEC members planning to display such cars at Gawsworth on 4 May who wish to take advantage of Rupert's generosity should contact me on 01538 385096 or at r5@porscheclubgb.com no later than Friday 1 May.

Hi Stuart,

Great day out but like last year a little bit of damp weather - not too bad though.
I arrived early to help out with parking the display cars up which proved somewhat challenging - thanks to Dean and the boys from Lancashire region for helping me out !

Suprisingly this year mine was the only 968 - I'm sure there were a good few last year !

it's traditionally been a good event for 968s and each year I normally arrange a good contingent, but I'm no longer the register secretary and also I couldn't make it this year, the next good one could be for Tom's run to the Cat and Fiddle but I guess testing an R8 just pips it at the post eh [;)] (lucky b**ger) Just had a thought, would they not let you bring it up to Macc for a good run up to the C&F. Now that would be a blast.[:D]
