Gaydon is for everyone

Don't forget Gaydon on Sunday. While it is the Modern cars display event there is still dedicated Porsche parking for all of us.

Gaydon is an interesting place in its own right with immaculate examples of some of the greatest British cars built and some great film cars as well. Add to that the possibility of a ride around the Land Rover off road course in a Cayenne, and the chance to drive a Cayenne around a slalom course yourself, and you have the makings of a great day out.

Lets be honest, we can all get a little excited looking at GT3's any way so having a few lined up for viewing is no great hardship.

Porscheshop, Autofarm and others will be there too, in addition to Club Shop, so you can get a reasonable fix of retail therapy as well.

This is a proper Porsche Club event, don't be fooled by the "Modern Models" banner and Beaky is looking forward to having a few mates to park with 'cos he likes to have a bit of a posse when he is sneering at squashed beetles. [;)]

That's the TIPEC annual event and, I am lead to believe, their tickets are more expensive than ours. [8|]

Yes, the 31st is the TIPEC annual show, also at Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre.

As with this PCGB event, everybody is welcome, the more the merrier. I know I'd definitely go to both if I didn't live so far away! As it is, I'll be down for the TIPEC one.

The TIPEC show is the same price in advance £9 (£6 members), but there is soooooooooo much more to do on the day.

4x4 rides, Bouncy Castle, Assault Course, Game Zone Truck, Good Time Jazz Band, childrens competitions, all included in the admission price.

There is also the test track to have a play on for £10 in advance.

Have a good day tomorrow and hopefully we'll see a few of you at our bash in a couple of weeks.
