I've been advised to post this question in the 968 forum, can anyone help?

Does anyone run this kit on their 944, I've got GT one to set it up and they need to know if I could run the rears without the torsion bars...? They do have full size coilover springs on the rear which I believe are rated at 225lbs.

Those springs are only to act as 'helpers' -- in that case you will need to keep the torsion bars. NB Helper springs do nothing when the car is sat still on the ground and thus only work when the suspension is in dynamic compression.

If you want to lower the car as well then there is usually no option but to re-index the torsion bars OR you might be lucky enough to find enough adjustment on the eccentric adjusters to get you down where you need to be.
