Odd thing on the way home.
Started the car and couldn't engage reverse. Restarted in reverse gear went backwards but then 1st was impossible. 2nd was just possible but lots of resistance - no noise and take up of drive was normal just very hard to push the lever into gear. 10 miles home 3/4/5 ok but a little more resistance than normal.
Got home switched the engine off - checked gearstick would go through all the gears with and without clutch depressed - fine. Restarted and all gears engage fine and normally.
First thought was the clutch or a gear linkage somewhere?
I'll see what tomorrow brings.
Thoughts?
 
Im guessing its a hydraulic problem with it going as it did. Hopefully that and not the clutch.
