Gearbox linkage adjustment

A few months back someone posted instructions for adjusting the gearbox linkage. Unfortunately, I've since mislaid my rprint-out, so is there any chance that someone could please run the procedure by me again. I know the 915 box is a bit of a knack, but I'm sure mine is a bit out of adjustment, especially as it hafd a gearbox rebuild about 1000 miles ago.

Also, am getting a bit of clutch bearing rumble when hot, probably to do with aforesaid gearbox jobby, which is now unfortunately out of warranty. Just how expensive a job is it to have this fixed?

hi rod,
i thought because i had problems sorting my gear change out a little first hand experience might help.first after you have gained access to the rear coupling you then slacken off the shift rod coupling bolt . you then turn transmission selector shaft clockwise as facing rear of car
with gear lever in neutral move lever towards passenger seat .this pre-loads the shift rod.tighten the coupling bolt & check for correct adjustment .check all gears engage with the same effort & throw.
finally good luck & happy adjusting
