mobilube ptx 75w-90

Merry Christmas[;)]

Hi , i just bought 4 litres on ebay for about £52
It was just enough to do the front diff as well on my turbo

You could also try to get the alternative approved oil - Shell Transaxle 75W-90 (which is miscible) - and generally easier to buy in 1 litre bottles.

Thanks Jonny boy and Richard.

Bit skeptic of Ebay and its look alikes for such an important product. will check out the alternatives.

Surprised that our club does not offer such items!

Have a good boxing day.

give Tim at Opie oils a ring

oil is oil apart from the special fairy dust porche sprinkle on theirs

I have decided to go for the Motul 300 fully synthetic ester based

it rather looks like porsche have tried to tie in the ptx to themselves

am also using the Fuchs titan s pro in the engine

Hi there
Got the porsche stuff and dropped it in yesterday.
I am surprised at how light and thin it is !

Here's the old stuff
Plenty of colour
Felt more like oil to the new stuff
New stuff fell very thin😳

Anyways it's in now at 92000 miles so the stuffs done a good job really.

Any one got any info on topping up the front axle.?

Cheers😃
